CNSA Tianzhou Cargo Spacecraft
Tianzhou ("Heavenly Vessel") is China National Space Administration's automated cargo spacecraft used to resupply the Tiangong space station. It delivers essential supplies, equipment, and propellant, ensuring the station's continued operation.
The first Tianzhou, launched in April 2017, successfully demonstrated automated docking and in-orbit refueling with Tiangong-2, marking a milestone for China's space logistics. Each Tianzhou can carry up to 6 tons of cargo and supports long-term crewed missions by delivering food, oxygen, and scientific equipment, as well as refueling the station.
Tianzhou is a key part of China's space program, maintaining the Tiangong station and advancing autonomous spacecraft technology.
